ABOUT ME(C)

Hello, hello! I’m Megan, a cultural insights analyst specializing in Gen Z & internet culture and how it intersects with race & gender. Currently working the dream job: on contract at YouTube serving as the Gen Z expert on the Brand Insights team.

Throughout my career, I’ve worked to identify human insights and cultural trends to ensure my clients stay ahead of the curve. As a Gen Z expert and trend forecaster, I’m always on YouTube & TikTok. But, I’m also constantly on the lookout for the latest in culture, marketing, fashion, work, aesthetics, and everything else.

Previously I spent 2 years at a boutique consultancy under Civic Entertainment Group where I built out their Gen Z knowledge for clients like VIACOM, HBO Max, Freeform, and others.

Prior to that, I served as Director of Trends & Strategy at Trendera where I curated and wrote the Trendera Files Weekly, an online newsletter featuring what to watch, click and covet from around the web each week. While there, I had the privilege of leading projects for clients like Hearst, Target, and Netflix.

I’m a proud LA “native” and in my free time, I love to read, tend to my plants, and take long walks listening to podcasts with my Dalmatian, Daisy!
