Last spring, I was at Target and couldn’t resist a little strawberry outfit for my friend Kirsten’s baby girl. “It’s going to be a strawberry girl summer,” I remember writing in the card. I can already tell that one of my joys in life is going to be that little girl’s “cool auntie Megan” who keeps her a full calendar year ahead of the other lowkey hipster little Gen Alphas.
